VANESSA!!!Vanessa Valentin, born and raised in Bronx, NY and of Puerto Rican decent,
Vanessa Valentin began her career as a professional recording artist less than 5 years ago. She began as the lead vocalist in a Latin Pop/Dance Trio called: "Ellas." The group released their first CD in the year 2000 and were signed & distributed by Max Music & Entertainment, Inc., and Universal Music & Video Distribution.
The group appeared on various national television shows, featured in major newspapers & magazines articles, performed in festivals such as: the famous Calle Ocho festival in Miami, and the Medalla festival. They also performed a mini tour from Orlando, FL to San Francisco, CA, ending in San Juan, PR.
Vanessa Valentin has shared the stage with numerous well known artists such as: Gilberto Santa Rosa, Willy Chirino, Elvis Crespo and Son by Four.
Shortly after the release of their first album Vanessa decided to pursue a career as a solo artist. In April of 2001, she released her first English dance single called, "Inside of Me" with DieselGroove Records.
She is currently performing as a "Shark Girl" in the musical "West Side Story" at the Stage Door Theater in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, and can be seen in the new hit musical "Directo A La Fama" (in both English and Spanish), starting in October of 2004, playing the leading female role. Vanessa currently resides in Miami, FL.
She is a graduate of the University of Miami where she received a Bachelor's degree in Music Therapy.
Her 16 years of extensive training includes: Classical music, Musical Theater, Gospel, Jazz, Pop, & R&B. Although Vanessa would like to branch out her talent into the world of commercials & movies, her main focus is her singing.
Now recently, Vanessa Valentin has sign a record deal with E.L.I.RECORDS, INC.
