B I O G R A P H Y

Thiago Derucio was born in Brazil on September 30th 1985. He has been brought up in Canada, and is accustomed to Italian Background and is now a multi-lingual artist who is able to sing in English, Spanish, Portuguese, and Italian. Performing since the age of 12 he has captured the attention of audiences both here and Brazil and soon will catch the attention of millions world wide.

His devotion to music has led him to record his first single "NEXT TO YOU” written by Canadian Artists Zoë and Kathy Phillips and Producers Chris Phillips which is featured on "The Return of Planet Freestyle". Thiago's newest tracks include “TURN BACK TIME" produced by DJ SL, "LOSING YOU", and last but not least his newest Freestyle Record “THERE’S NOTHING!!"

His vocal training includes the Royal Conservatory of Music and presently attending Melody Studios & Artist Development directed by Zoë.

Thiago has been part of many fundraisers such as "Cancer Society" which raised money for cancer patients throughout Canada and Defense For Children International who support children who have been miss-treated and abused. He was also part of TLN Television network and has performed at Paramount Canada’s Wonderland for the annual Chin Picnic! Just recently he was interviewed by Rogers Television and featured on their television show ARTS IN B-TOWN and news segment First Local! Thiago has been contributing to his community through his love for music.

His first single "Next To you" has been added to a New York radio station's rotation. Latino mix 105.7 with Mickey Garcia and was nominated number One requested song on the Request billboards in Holland! In 2004 Next To You was released on 10 different cd compilations in Germany. Four years after the release of Next To You it is still going strong and has just been added to a radio station in Dallas Texas!

The year 2004 promised many good things for this rising artist as his track with DJ SL TURN BACK TIME hit the Brazilian air waves blasting right with it NEXT TO YOU both tracks are now being played in clubs, and on the air waves of this South American country who promise to keep on showing their support to their Brazilian star.

Thiago has also had the amazing opportunity to perform in various parts of the world such as New York City, Miami, The Dominican Republic, Mexico, and just recently in Italy! On November 11th 2005 he was chosen with honors to open up for the freestyle king him self Stevie.B.

His out standing performances were in many venues including Club Ice Castle, Pomegranates, The Docks, Sin City (Formerly Palazzo) Paramount Canada's Wonderland, He's been in concert with numerous of inspiring artists including Zoë, Lil Suzy, Joee, Kathy Phillips, Shannon and Italian artists such as Umberto Tozzi and Paula e Chiara.

In the spring of 2006 Thiago will be releasing his first debut album which will be sold nation wide! The album will show the world this young stars vocal styling and will feature his newest Italian ballad NON CI SEI.
