Mickey Garcia, best known for his days at the now defunct but on the
comback MicMac label, has been
keeping himself quite busy with his latest project, 21st Century Records'
newest Volume. Volume 2, is a 60 plus minute mix of progressive dance
tracks spun seamlessly by DJ Stevie Zaccone and features two mixes by
the master himself, Mickey Garcia!! Also available on this Volume courtesy
of his brother, Tony Garcia--High
Power Label, is Renaildo's "Another Night" and Lil Suzy's "Take
Me In Your Arms". These two tracks not only display the "Freestyle Melodies"
but also have been remixed with a twist of Progressive House; Only available
on this compilation.
** Speaking about comps, don't forget to check out Robbins "Dance Party(Like Its 2000)" CD. It's Full of hits by Cynthia, Daisey, Rockell and the Vengaboys just to name a few. ** Set to hit the street any day now is E.L.I. Records' "Estilo Libre 2" that features 10 songs including Arelen's (of Leather & Lace fame) "Amiga", Chrissy I-Eece with a riveting toe tapper called "You & Me" as well as Freddy Lopez himself singing "Finiste Amor". People in the New York area should also be on the lookout for Freddy Lopez's show, "The Freestyle Show" hosted by Chrissy I-Eece and former Cover Girls lead singer, Angel Cliviles. ** Robbins Entertainment has brought aboard super DJ Denny Tsettos to provide a house mix for Cynthia's latest release, "I Never Said" and John Parker has stated that Rockell's new album will boast such producers as Tony Moran, Hex Hector, Adam Marano and the legendary, Carlos Berrios. Definitely something to lookout for!!
