Odeon Records is a Canadian based label that has been a fore runner in the dance indusrty for over 10 years. Dance music remains the focus of all releases in Canada. Many of Odeon Records releases have achieved the kind of success only expected from major record labels. The Planet Freestyle series has become one of the most successful freestyle compilations in Canada, selling a combined amount of over 40,000 copies. Dance compilations like Mega Dance Hits 2000, and Dance Connection Vol.1 also fared very well in the dance market as well. Our licensing department has been very successful in Europe, India, South America, Asia and of course the U.S. We are proud of the fact that all of our licensing is only from Canadian artists.

Odeon records has released some of the biggest names in Dance/Freestyle. Stevie B, Alexia Phillips, Collage, Lil' Suzy, Joee, Never Never, Kathy Phillips, Freda, Jay Jay, Paul London, Emjay, Maurizio, Tito Puente Jr., Emanuel, Crooklyn Clan ,M2P, Rhythm Reaction , and Kim Esty, are only a few of Odeon's collection of star artists. In 2003, Odeon Records will be concentrating on developing local talent. A lot of great talent in Canada has been ignored for too long.
