MicMac is back with their second addition
to the successful Bangin Beats series. Volume II has a twist from
its series 1 edition with a rejoining of its former arists with hott
brand new songs. This CD is well put together and has the magic touch
of FreestyleFile's own DJ Paradise. If you remember, Paradise is not
stranger to the freestyle scene. Not only did he hold a very popular
freestyle show but has work on previous compiliations such as "Ladies
Of Freestyle" back in 2001 on the Metropolitan Label. In addition
to Paradise, there is a newcomer that no doubt has showcased his skills
over the radio...I am talking bout DJ Steve Callo.
This CD has already began stirring the
waves in the MicMac camp prompting them into releasing a Volume 3
soon after this one. For more information, please log in to, www.MicMacRecords.com,
and make sure to support the music by picking yourself a copy at your
local FYE or by purchasing it online via Towerrecords.com or MicMacRecords.com

So far that new millenium has not even brought us close
to Freestyle's golden era of 1986 - 1992; especially, as we enter 2005.
However, on particular label, Empire Music Werks, understands the demand
and believes that the market of Freestyle Music is still there and they
are one of the few labels that continue to support this genre.
Empire Music Werks is at it again with their newest
installment in the Freestyle Genre. They bring you 4 variations of freestyle,
Stevie B (Oldschool), Aby of TKA (Oldschool), Collage (NewSchool), &
Denine (New School) all along with their freestyle mega hits. What is
good about this album? All hardcore freestyle classics. This defintely
is a collector's piece if by chance you happen not to own any songs
by ABY.
