| Born and raised
in Lawrence, Massachussetts. Bylli Crayone noticed his talents and ability
to make people happy with entertainment. In High School, Bylli Crayone
entered his freshamn year Talent show by dressing in drag as a female
impersonator (Cyndi Lauper) and lip synced "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun". Bylli came in second place as "Break Dancing" came in first. It was Big at the time. But Bylli didnt leave unhappy. Now, almost 15 years later, Bylli is still known by classmates as "Cyndi". He loves it, and takes it as a compliment as he knows he left his mark. Although it was under the shadow of the famous Cyndi Lauper. Bylli had dreams, and one of his dreams was to meet his idol...Cyndi lauper. he also dreamt of recording his own album and getting recognized by people he didnt know. Well, in 1999, that all came true! In 1992, Bylli's first demo "Girl, Hang It Up!" got his some local recognition in both Lawrence and where he recorded the track Miami, FLA. as he played several show dates. And became an overnight local star. But it wasnt until 1999 when he recorded and released his first single "What's The Answer?" (HOTT Records, Maimi, FLA.) He also released a full length album called "Original/Unique" (1999 LawTown Records). It featured the singles "What's The Answer" & "Court of Love". That album gave him alot of exposure in the City of Lawrence, he made the local paper and played several show dates. But what he really wanted was to play "Semana Hispana". That was the biggest community event for the city of Lawrence (Spanish Week). Well, he did not only play there in 1999, but also in 2000 and 2001. In November of 2000, Bylli released a Freestyle dance track called "Touch Me All Over". It was getting alot of play at night clubs, roller rinks, online radio, etc. But it wasnt until his 2001 summer release "TOYFRIEND" was released that it got full attention. "Touch Me..." along with the gay dance hit "Drop Those Pants!" earned Bylli 2 nominations at the first annual LawTown Music Awards and winning for Best Freestyle dance Single and Best Electronica single (Toyfriend: title track). Bylli noticed that the Gay market was where it was at, so his next release "BOY NEXT DOOR" will be a full length album of previous tracks from the 1999 & 2001 release (Newly Remixed) plus 5 dance mixes to the title track "BOY NEXT DOOR". When song writing, Bylli takes topics that are often ignored or overlooked and wrote the reality of them, such as "Can't fight the Attraction!" (Reality issue about sexuality) and "Boy Next Door" (Bisexual men getting it on with their male neighbor when the wife was out). Bylli was also fortunate enough to meet Cyndi Lauper back in 1999 and they have remained friends to this day. Bylli has also met up with some of Freestyle Dance music biggest stars including JOHNNY 'O, CYNTHIA, SHANA, LIL' SUZY and top pop stars like Beyonce & Kelly of "Destinys Child" and "Deborah Gibson" (80's Icon). This is only the beginning, keep an eye and ear out for Bylli, as he might be coming your way soon. |
